Educators recognised for long service at Redland Bay
Goodstart Redland Bay
has celebrated their staff service awards, with 10 educators being recognised for their long-standing commitment to the centre.
Centre director Jodie Zysvelt, who herself received a 10 year service pin, said it was a great privilege to celebrate the service of her dedicated team.
“I’m incredibly proud of our entire team, and particularly those who have just received either their five years, 10 years or 15 years’ service pin,” Ms Zysvelt said.
“The quality of stability of educators and teachers working in the early childhood sector is recognised as the single most important influence on children’s development, learning and wellbeing.
“So it is a wonderful achievement to celebrate the dedication of our educators who have shown such a strong commitment to early education, and to our Goodstart families.
“Every day we come to work to make a positive impact to the lives of the children in our care, to instil in all children a love for learning, and to support their families in any way we can.
“Working in early education can be emotionally and physically demanding work at times, but it is such a rewarding and satisfying profession to help children to reach their potential,” she said.
