Birthday celebration for the community
All families are invited to a 21st birthday celebration at Goodstart Ballarat – Creswick Road
on April 2.
Since first opening its doors in April 1996, the centre has welcomed thousands of children from all backgrounds through its doors, partnering with families to provide the highest quality early learning and care.
Centre director Rebecca Burge said Goodstart was proud of its strong community reputation that has been built over many years.
“Our centre has a beautiful family feel where all children are nurtured, supported, and given every opportunity to experience positive and enriching early learning experiences,” Mrs Burge said.
“We are very fortunate to have so many dedicated, long-standing educators in our centre, who absolutely love what they do. Most of our staff have been with the centre for at least 10 years, which I think is why families stay for many years and keep coming back.
“At Goodstart we know the first five years last a lifetime, which is why it is so important children develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need for a smooth start to school. For our team, everything we do aimed at supporting children and their families and instilling a love for learning from an early age,” she said.
Mrs Burge said they have much to celebrate and even more to look forward to in the coming years.
“We’ve seen many changes over the years in the sector, but one thing that hasn’t changed is a passion to deliver the best available care and teaching outcomes and to provide a great place for every child to grow, learn and develop the skills they need to navigate a fast-changing world.” she said.
Goodstart Ballarat – Creswick Road will open to the wider community on April 2 from 10am to 12.30pm. There will be face-painting, games, and morning tea. The centre is located on 609-611 Creswick Rd.
