To be eligible for a Traineeship at Goodstart, you must be an Australian citizen, a person granted permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen who entered Australia on a valid passport. The Australian Government requires that New Zealand citizens have been residents in Australia for more than six months. If you are a Visa holder, you must be able to work and study in Australia, and the duration of the Traineeship must match the length of your Visa.

To join our Traineeship program, you will need to enrol in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care through one of Goodstart's preferred training providers, with funding provided by Goodstart (eligibility criteria applies).
