About Goodstart Aberfoyle Park
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Aberfoyle Park is set back from the road, surrounded by shady gum trees and gardens. We are in a residential area, close to local schools and shops as well as community amenities.
We care for children from six weeks to school age and offer a separate Kindergarten House for children aged four to five years old which focuses on school readiness, teaching a nationally accredited kindergarten program planned by early childhood educators.
Each room provides a fun and educational program incorporating both indoor and outdoor experiences.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have five areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. All of our yards are spacious and well shaded. We have a balance of natural and manmade elements, including bike paths, sand and mud kitchens, sand pits, banana trees, water tanks and pet rabbits as well as a bird!
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
Our centre celebrates many events throughout the year including Grandparent's Day, Sports Day, Dress-up days and our end of year Christmas Party for children and their families.
Each of our educators are either qualified in early childhood education or undertaking study to become so. Our educators also hold first aid certificates and a current police check.
We invite you to
