With five age-based rooms, we provide high-quality, tailored programs for children from six weeks to preschool.

Our longstanding educators, many with 10 to 20+ years of experience, bring stability, trust and genuine care to every child's learning journey.

At Goodstart Aberfoyle Park, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners.
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Aberfoyle Park centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start reception.

My name is Preesa Aamer, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Centre Director at Goodstart Aberfoyle Park.

I have over 15 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education, I bring a strong professional foundation and a deep personal passion for supporting the growth and wellbeing of young children. As a proud mother of four, three currently at university and one still in school.

I understand the diverse needs of families and the importance of nurturing, responsive care during the early years. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across all age groups from birth to five and have held a variety of leadership roles including Team Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and Centre Director.

My journey with Goodstart spans more than eight years. As an educator, I am particularly passionate about creating inclusive and respectful learning environments where every child feels safe, seen, and supported and fostering curiosity, confidence, and independence through play-based, intentional teaching.

Building trusting, collaborative relationships with families to support each child’s development journey. I believe in open communication, flexibility, and partnership with families, and I strive to ensure that every child and parent feels welcomed and heard.

Outside of the centre, I love spending quality time with my own family and hosting dinners - bringing people together through connection and conversation. I am excited to continue leading our passionate team at Goodstart Aberfoyle Park and remain committed to creating a centre culture that is caring, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of every child and family we support.

At Aberfoyle Park, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a preschool program and long day care under the one roof. Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
