High quality early learning: Spotlighting the 2025 Goodstart Centre of the Year
Skilled educators and teachers shaping futures every day.
Located on Kaurna land across from Prescott College in a welcoming, family-friendly community, Goodstart Old Reynella is a place where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn. Our experienced educators guide each child’s journey through play, helping them build confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging. With long-standing relationships and a focus on school readiness, children are supported to develop the skills they need for life. Book a tour to discover how your child can grow and thrive with us.
What makes our centre special:
Each day, children are encouraged to explore their interests through sensory, hands-on learning experiences guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. Our learning environments – from Nursery through to Preschool – are thoughtfully designed to support independence, creativity and meaningful connections. Outdoor play invites children to take risks, build confidence and develop an understanding of the natural world.
Our strong community focus means children feel connected not only within the centre, but also to their local environment through excursions such as library visits and picnics. Families often tell us it is our people, our program and our welcoming atmosphere that make our centre feel like a second home.
Whether you are beginning your early learning journey or preparing your child for school, we would love to welcome your family. Take a tour today to meet our team and explore our learning spaces or book a visit to see how we can support your child’s development every step of the way.
The team at Old Reynella have looked after my little one since she was 6 months old. Helping us both settle into working and mum life which is such a big change. The office team are always able to answer my questions and if they can’t they’ll get back to me as soon as they know the answer. Definitely recommend! 🥰

I have been working in the Early Childhood sector for over 20 years and have always had a strong passion for working with children and supporting their development. I have been part of the Goodstart family for nearly five years and during this time have taken on a variety of roles, including Educational Leader and most recently Assistant Director. These experiences have provided me with valuable knowledge and leadership skills that I bring to my role as Centre Director.
I am currently studying my Master of Early Childhood Education to broaden my understanding of the evolving changes within the sector and continue strengthening my practice as an educator and leader.
One of my greatest passions in early learning is supporting children’s development through music and movement. Music has always played an important role in my life and I am an organist, with my love of music coming from my upbringing where I was exposed to a wide variety of genres.
I have three wonderful children aged 19, 18 and 13 who continue to inspire my passion for supporting children as they grow, learn and develop their own identities. In my spare time I enjoy playing the organ, travelling, and spending quality time with my family.
When working with children, I enjoy creating fun and engaging opportunities that support their learning and development. I believe children learn best through meaningful relationships, peer interactions and exploration, and I am passionate about supporting them to build independence, confidence and curiosity about the world around them.
I look forward to getting to know all of the families and children here at Old Reynella and supporting them throughout their early learning journey.
