About Goodstart Baldivis
Goodstart Baldivis has been an integral part of early learning education in Baldivis since 2003. Our centre is surrounded by natural bushland so we get lots of visits from native birds, frogs and even the occasional lizard. This lovely natural environment provides many learning opportunities for the children and they enjoy observing and feeding the animals each day.
Our centre is conveniently located on the corner of Eighty Road and Safety Bay Road and is close to the bus stop with ample onsite parking. Several of our educators have been with our centre for over four years, providing a nice mix of old and new faces. They are also well-qualified and are either studying towards or have completed their qualifications. We also have a qualified early learning teacher who delivers our Kindergarten program.
There are 5 rooms at our centre for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and we cater for 85 children each day. We have families from many different cultures and we take time to connect with families to ensure their cultural needs are accommodated. We are dedicated to keeping the lines of communication open with families and encourage families to phone us at any time, especially when their child first starts in our centre.
We invite you to book a tour
of our centre so we can show you around and discuss how we can assist your child on their learning journey.
We provide early learning & care to these groups:
Rossann Reeves Centre Director
Hi my name is Rossann and I have been the Centre Director of Goodstart since June 2010 and have been a Centre Director since 2008. I hold a Diploma in Children's Services and have worked in the early learning sector since 1999.
I have lived in Baldivis since 2004 and what I like most about the area is the sense of community. I love the way everyone helps each other.
The reason I work in early learning is because I enjoy seeing the children grow and learn. There is nothing more satisfying than watching a child grow and develop as they go from the nursery room all the way to the pre-school room. It’s also great to be able to work with our capable educators and I enjoy sharing the knowledge I’ve learnt during my years in early learning.
Our centre is in a beautiful bushland setting and while we are quite a large centre, the personal feel helps it feel like a small centre. Families tell us that our centre is caring and approachable and that’s something we feel very proud about.
I look forward to meeting you and your family.
