About Goodstart Berowra
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Berowra is located on the Upper North Shore. We are surrounded by beautiful bushland and we are within walking distance of Berowra Station.
Our centre caters for children aged six weeks to five years in rooms from Nursery, through to Toddlers and then on to Kindergarten / Preschool rooms. We are one of only two centres in the area which caters for children under two years.
Inside, our rooms are set up with the individual needs and interests of the child in mind, while adhering to the innovative Early Years Learning Framework in the construction of our curriculum. Outside, we have shaded, natural surrounds which lends to a play and sensory based learning experience for our children.
Our long-serving, loyal team of early childhood educators and carers sets our centre apart. Some of our staff have worked at this centre for more than 10 years and we all share the common passion and dedication to seeing children develop and meet their potential. We are focused on ensuring children are well transitioned to school – in both a development and social context.
Our centre philosophy is based on the belief that children learn through play. We go above and beyond so that all children can have hands on experiences in the many different learning areas that we offer here at Goodstart Early Learning Berowra.
We recognise the importance of family at Goodstart Early Learning Berowra. The centre has a large amount of parent and community input and involvement.
Our centre has always had a huge response from parents, helping us celebrate special events such as Christmas Parties, Pink Ribbon Breakfasts, Olympic Days in the Park, excursions, art exhibitions and many more events through out the year.
