Goodstart Echuca

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Echuca is a 105 place centre, located on the edge of Echuca in a residential area conveniently close to local industry and commercial areas. Embracing our local heritage, our six rooms have been named after the famous Paddle Steamers that call our section of the Murray River home.

Our happy and friendly educators pride themselves on delivering fun and educational programs that assist the children to grow and develop. They strive to ensure strong relationships are built and flourish during each child's time at the centre to ensure the best possible start for your child.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our three outdoor areas have sandpits, water tanks, Worm farm, a digging patch, vege patches and a stage area.

We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals that follow the smiles for miles program. This program provides a nutritious and delicious meals option. 

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity. We now also offer funded swimming lessons for our kindergarten children with our local swimming school and have scheduled Incursion and excursion every term. 

Our educators, children and their families enjoy coming together for special events such as Special Friend Days, Kinder Graduation and our spectacular Christmas Concert and Party.
