Backing people to lead the way: Meet our WA State Manager, Joelene Brown
We’re proud to announce Joelene Brown as Goodstart’s State Manager for Western Australia
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Eimeo is located in the beautiful Northern Beaches, close to all amenities, and next door to Eimeo Road State School. We are open all year round and only closed on gazetted public holidays.
We currently operate five rooms - Nursery to Kindergarten for children from 6 weeks to school age.
Each day is a learning journey for all of us, as under the Early Years' Learning Framework we want children in our care to have a sense of belonging.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
Community is also important to us. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We warmly welcome new families, so please stop by! We would love to explore how we can support you and your child on their pathway to lifelong learning.

Being part of a child’s learning journey is an incredible privilege. I love watching children grow, make discoveries, develop new skills and, most importantly, have fun along the way. The early years are such a special and important time in a child’s life, and I feel very fortunate to work in partnership with families to ensure every child is given the best possible start in their early education.
I have always had a passion for working with children and love watching them discover who they are and explore the world around them. I believe every child deserves the best possible start in life, and I am committed to providing a warm, nurturing, safe and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported and has a strong sense of belonging.
Building strong relationships with children, families, educators and our wider community is something I am truly passionate about. I believe that as a centre, we have an important role to play in making meaningful connections, working collaboratively and supporting those within our community who may be experiencing challenges or are in need of a helping hand. I love being part of a team that comes together to give back, make a difference and create a positive impact within our local community.
At Goodstart Eimeo, I am passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where children, families and educators feel connected, respected and supported.
I look forward to being part of your child’s learning journey and welcoming your family into our Goodstart Eimeo family.

At Eimeo, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
