About Goodstart Euroa
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Euroa is a 61 place child care centre located in a rural areas close to schools and shops as well as residential areas.
We provide care for infants through to six years. We have four rooms within the centre comprising of a nursery, toddler, pre-kinder and kindergarten room.
We are the first Goodstart centre that have funded 3 year old Kinder, which is ran by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
Our educators pride themselves on delivering a fun and educational learning experience for each child in their care. They work hard to maintain strong friendships among their peers.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two areas have sandpits, cubby houses, a fort, vege patch with worm farm and compost, tan bark, chicken coop.
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.
We offer a setting which encourages the child to develop skills and creative interests at their own pace and according to their individual needs. Our staff acknowledge the unique quality of each family and encourage a partnership based on mutual respect and the sharing of information.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
We look forward to meeting you and your family soon! Come in and meet the team, take a tour and see how we can work together to give your child the best possible start in life.
