Hi, my name is Lauren Pidding and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Glenwood Forman Avenue.

I have been working in the early childhood education sector for over five years, and during this time, I completed my Bachelor of Education in Birth to Five Years. My passion for early childhood education runs deep, and I am continually inspired by the incredible impact we have in shaping the early stages of a child’s life. I am dedicated to creating environments where children, families, and educators can thrive in a supportive and collaborative way.

As a Centre Director, my goal is to provide a warm and nurturing space where every child feels safe, valued, and supported. I believe that a strong sense of security is foundational for children to reach their full potential. My approach focuses on ensuring that children not only feel cared for but are also encouraged to explore, grow, and develop their unique abilities at their own pace.

I am a firm believer in the power of play-based learning. Through play, children engage with the world around them, discovering new concepts, skills, and relationships. My priority is to build trusting and meaningful relationships with each child, understanding their individual needs and interests.

Building strong connections with families is equally important to me. I see parents and caregivers as partners in a child’s learning journey. Open communication, mutual respect, and collaboration are key elements of my philosophy. By working closely with families, I aim to ensure we are aligned in our approach, supporting each child’s growth both at the centre and at home.

Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
