Goodstart Horningsea Park offers state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly atmosphere and high-quality care and education, with a strong focus on families and the local community. We cater for children aged six weeks to five years.

Our centre is centrally located, on the grounds of John Edmondson High School in close proximity to Greenway Park Public School, Holy Spirit Catholic School and William Carey Christian School.

The centre features four age-based playrooms, a large, purpose-built outdoor playground and dedicated drop off/pick up zones available for safe and easy access for families.

Our centre incorporates a dedicated Preschool Program for children from 3 – 5 years, delivered by University Qualified Early Learning Teachers and supported by the expertise of a national network. Through sensory and play-based learning we offer your child the highest level of early education, while supporting and promoting their individual needs, interests, and strengths.

Hello! I’m Marie, your Centre Director at Goodstart Horningsea Park.

I have been working with children for over 20 years (where has the time gone?) I completed my diploma in 1999 and hold a Bachelor in Early Education.
I have two boys, who keep me on my toes. So, I understand what it’s like to juggle and how important great support is.

Part of my role as we move towards opening is recruiting a fabulous team of educators and support staff. I then get to work with the team to set-up the many wonderful and engaging learning spaces for your child.

I believe every child has the right to be heard, the right to play, the right to live and right to learn. This is why I am committed to providing children a loving, caring and nurturing environment which is warm, welcoming, and inviting.

I’m looking forward to showing you, your new centre and inviting your child to explore our learning environments!

Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
