Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Mona Vale is nestled beneath native gum trees, in a residential area close to schools, shops and transport links.
Our indoor spaces are just as special, with predictable and comforting areas encouraging self-lead play, decision making skills and social interactions. Our rooms open up onto our outdoor spaces, allowing for a free-flow affect throughout the day.
Not only does this allow for our educators to support success when transitioning but also encourages children to make choices and become more capable and confident learners. Our curriculum is developed in line with the Early Years' Learning Framework, keeping in mind the children's individual needs and interests.

We have endless opportunities for natural exploration in a safe, but challenging space where children are encouraged to discover, investigate and connect with nature. We encourage loud, messy play in our outdoor space, with logs, tyres, river rocks and water play, stimulating sensory learning as well as a respect and value on nature’s resources.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. The meals that we provide are healthy and nutritious and we also cater for children who have allergies to certain foods.
Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.

My name is Kylie and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Mona Vale.
Welcome to Goodstart Mona Vale.
Hi, I’m Kylie and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mona Vale. I started here in April 2024, I have 19 years experience working as a Centre Director on the Northern Beaches and live locally. I love our Community, I have 3 small children who attend local schools and you will find us all most weekends in summer enjoying everything this area has to offer, but mostly at Mona Vale Beach.
My early childhood philosophy:
I believe children develop and learn through their own interests and imagination, and the best way to foster this is by creating a safe and secure environment. This includes building strong relationships between the entire family and our Goodstart Mona Vale team.
What I love most about Goodstart Mona Vale:
Personally, I have felt very welcome and supported here by both the educators and families. Being situated right in the heart of Mona Vale is a huge advantage as it encourages us to open our doors and be a part of the larger community. It is heart warming to arrive here each morning to hear singing and laughter and be greeted by the smiling faces of the children.
My commitment to you:
As a Centre Director my aim is to build this Service into the best on the Northern Beaches. I am always available for a chat and to listen to any feedback you have to offer. It is important to me that your child’s time at our Centre is a positive, nurturing and fun experience. I believe their love of learning starts here, and they will leave fully prepared for their transition onto school.
