My name is Rachel Williams and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Mount Pleasant.

I have had the pleasure of being the Centre Director at Goodstart Mount Pleasant since January 2018. I have worked in the childcare industry for over 20 years and for Goodstart specifically for 13 years and have been blessed to have many roles in my career.

My passion has always been advocating for children’s rights and providing a rich and purposeful program that is conducive for learning. Being a Centre Director means balancing the head and heart as an Early Learning Leader and it takes consistency, determination and a leader that can work collaboratively with their team, children, families and the community for enhanced outcomes at the centre. This was recognised in 2025 when I proudly won the Regional QLD Early Learning Leadership Award.

Goodstart Mount Pleasant is a centre that believes in relationship based care and having Educators who are empowered and educated to ensure that they are going the little bit extra to provide a home away from home for our children and families. I am very proud to work at this centre and look forward to new families joining our community.

Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
