Goodstart recognises excellence and impact at 2025 National Goodies awards
Goodstarters from across the nation gathered to celebrate best practice at the 2025 National Goodies awards this week.
This centre is closing and no longer taking enrolments.
Opening Early 2026*
Just 700 metres down the road on Cumberland Road
We’re excited to share that our centre will be relocating to a beautiful, purpose-built early learning environment, located just 700 metres from this site.
This move marks an important next chapter in our commitment to providing exceptional early learning experiences for children, families and educators.
As we prepare our new home for service approval, our existing centre has now closed. The new centre has been thoughtfully designed with modern learning spaces, engaging indoor environments and natural outdoor play areas, all created to inspire curiosity, creativity and growth.
All currently enrolled children and families will be supported throughout this transition, with guaranteed placement and a carefully planned, smooth move into the new centre once it opens*.
We look forward to welcoming families into our new home — a space built with care, connection and a shared vision for giving every child the best possible start in life.
We also want to take a moment to celebrate the many memories, friendships and milestones created in our previous space. Every laugh, learning moment and relationship has shaped the strong community we are proud of today.
Tours will become available once service approval is granted.

I have been working in early education for just over 14 years, gaining experience across a wide range of age groups. I have worked as an assistant, a room leader, and developed my expertise as an Early Childhood Teacher in the Kinder room. Since 2021, I have also served as an Educational Leader, supporting my team to deliver high-quality programs where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
As Centre Director at Goodstart Pascoe Vale, my philosophy is rooted in a genuine commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children can flourish. I believe the foundation of effective early childhood education is built on the following principles:
Child-Centred Approach: Every child is a unique individual with their own interests, strengths, and potential. I strive to create environments that respond to their needs, encourage curiosity, and nurture creativity.
Empowerment through Relationships: I am passionate about building strong, trusting connections with both children and families. When children feel safe and supported, they are more confident to explore and learn. Partnering with families strengthens learning and fosters a sense of community.
Quality and Continuous Improvement: High-quality early childhood education is vital for children’s development. I am committed to cultivating a culture of excellence, encouraging staff collaboration, reflection, and professional growth to continually enhance our programs and experiences.
Play as the Heart of Learning: Play is central to children’s learning and development. I advocate for engaging, stimulating environments where children can explore, experiment, and develop critical thinking skills through play.
Diversity and Inclusion: I am committed to celebrating diversity in all its forms and ensuring our centre is a welcoming space for every family. By embracing different cultures, perspectives, and abilities, we create a richer, more meaningful learning environment.
Lifelong Learning for All: My philosophy extends beyond children to educators and families. I believe in nurturing a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. By providing opportunities for professional development and family engagement, we cultivate a community where everyone inspires and learns from one another.
As Centre Director, I am dedicated to leading by example, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere where everyone contributes to our vision of high-quality early childhood education. Together, we can support every child on their journey toward lifelong learning and success.
I am also incredibly excited to transition with all our families to our brand-new Goodstart Pascoe Vale centre in February 2026 (*subject to service approval). This beautiful new space has been designed with children’s curiosity, growth and happiness in mind and I can’t wait to welcome our families to a fresh, inspiring environment where children can thrive together.
