Families love the educators – our staff are incredibly nurturing and passionate, with high qualifications. We have five qualified teachers on our books who lead the programming based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
During your tour, you'll get a feel for the homely atmosphere and how welcoming it is here. Your child's care and learning are truly a collaboration with our educators. We keep an open, clear and honest flow of communication about their development.
While our curriculum is sensory and play-based, we also offer extracurricular excursions and incursions to further enrich children's experiences with us. We visit the aged care centre across the road every six weeks and offer music and sports sessions on alternate weeks.
Each year, Essendon Football Club come to do a session with the children, Wild Action teaches the children about wildlife, and specialists come to do water safety sessions. We also have children's first aid lessons and body safety workshops.
We take pride in our service and are keen to continue regular renovations and improvements. We recently received a grant to renovate our kindergarten bathroom.
Throughout the year, families are invited to attend our special occasions and celebrations, such as kindergarten graduation, Mother's, Father's, and Grandparents' Day, cultural festivities, and, of course, our very special end-of-year Christmas party.
Once a month, our centre director attends local community meetings to advocate for early childhood education and the needs of children in the community.
Our wonderful parents come in regularly to teach the children songs and stories in their native language.  We hope you'll join our family soon – we can't wait to meet you.
