High quality early learning: Spotlighting the 2025 Goodstart Centre of the Year
Skilled educators and teachers shaping futures every day.
Nestled on the traditional lands of the Noongar people, our Thornlie centre offers a calm, welcoming space where children can learn, grow and belong. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac near local shops and community hubs, children explore their interests through play, curiosity, and connection. Our experienced, long-standing team supports each child to develop at their own pace, with a strong focus on inclusion, cultural respect, and sustainability. Book a tour to experience our child-led learning in action.
What makes our centre special
Our learning spaces, including Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten rooms, are thoughtfully designed to inspire exploration, creativity, and a sense of belonging. Children engage in play-based experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, building confidence and skills for life. Families value our warm communication, cultural inclusivity and genuine care shown by educators each day.
Our Embrace Our Culture and Sustainability Project initiatives help children understand diversity and environmental responsibility from an early age. Located near Parivaar Indian Restaurant and opposite Forest Lake Retirement Village, our centre is easy to access while offering a peaceful setting.

I have worked in the early learning sector since 2010. I am extremely passionate about the development and learning that happens within the child’s first five years and feel a nurturing start with a rich learning environment sets children up for a great beginning in life and supports positive outcomes for their future.
As an early childhood professional and a mother of two children, I understand how important it is for you to choose the right early learning provider for you and your little one(s). My aim is to support you and put your mind at ease from the very beginning.
Parents are our primary partners and by working together we provide the highest quality care for our children and families. Every family and child are unique, and the most important aspect of my role is to ensure that every child’s needs are met. I will ensure that your family feels supported and included into our programs and setting.
As Centre Director, my goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to develop their full potential, to provide an inspirational learning environment, and to ensure that both children and their families experience a sense of belonging.
We look forward to meeting you and your family at Goodstart Thornlie and exploring how we can support you through the early learning adventure.

At Thornlie, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof.
