Welcome to Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Wangaratta - Moore Street. Our 58-place centre is conveniently located within walking distance of the CBD, Hospital, and TAFE. We pride ourselves on providing quality programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and incorporate age-appropriate experiences that build children's skills and confidence through play-based learning.
Led by experienced educators and teachers, including five Early Childhood Teachers, we leverage our in-depth knowledge of children's development and extensive background to create an inclusive environment for all abilities. We work in partnership with outside agencies and professionals and take an individualized approach to building relationships and supporting children's development. We take a great pride in our two kinder programs and we foster relationship between us and the local schools to support school transitions.
Our nurturing and homely environment is designed to stimulate the growth and confidence of children in our four rooms for nursery, toddler, and two funded kinder programs. Combined with our platform "Storypark", we are dedicated to keeping families connected by sharing daily routines, photos, children's development, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with families.
The playground area of our centre is thoughtfully designed with natural and man-made elements to encourage a better understanding of the environment and sustainability while giving children the opportunity to explore, play and imagine.
We provide community outreach opportunities for children of all ages in our incursion and excursion programs. We have organized incursions, excursions ranging from local emergency services, play gym, and our Bush Kinder program. We also offer opportunities for visitors to our centre to broaden the children's knowledge of the local community.

Centre Director
Hi, I’m Marlee. I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Wangaratta Moore Street since 2023, but I have been a part of the team here since 2008.
My Early Childhood Journey:
During my time here, I have witnessed the growth and development of countless children, and it has been an honour to be part of their journey. I truly believe that early childhood development sets the foundation for a child's future, and I am committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child in our care.
In addition to my experience in this field, I also recently completed my bachelor’s degree in early childhood development. This accomplishment has equipped me with an even deeper understanding of the unique needs and aspirations of our little ones. I am eager to apply this knowledge and continue fostering a love of learning within our community.
A little more about me:
I am also a proud mother of three children. They have brought immeasurable joy and taught me valuable lessons about the wonders and challenges of parenthood. This personal experience has further reinforced my belief in the power of a strong partnership between families and educators.
