Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre West Melton is located in a residential area close to schools, shops and transport.

We are a 75 place child care centre with educational programs available from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. All educators at our centre have formal qualifications in early childhood and many years of experience. We are a dedicated team of professionals who strive for excellent outcomes for all children.

We believe that every child is unique, and we tailor our programs to suit each child’s individual learning style. We focus on play-based learning – based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework - as we understand that by extending on children’s interests, learning becomes more meaningful to them.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our two areas have forts, sandpits, fairy gardens, work farms, vege patch and lots of shaded space for running around.

We maintain strong ties to our local community and undertake a variety of excursions and incursions throughout the year; and we are recognised for our strong partnerships with families and firmly believe that care and education is a shared responsibility between parents and educators.
