Goodstart St Leonards - Christie Street

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre St Leonards is a licensed 66-place long day care centre catering for children aged six weeks to five years. We are conveniently located just a five-minute walk from St Leonards train station and bus stops and are easily accessible by private transport. Parents can also access free parking at the Wilsons car park for half an hour during drop-off and pick-up.

Safeguarding children is at the heart of everything we do. Our team is committed to creating a child-safe environment where every child is known, heard, respected and protected, and where families feel confident raising questions or concerns. This commitment is embedded in our everyday practice through active supervision, regular risk assessments, safe recruitment and induction processes, ongoing safeguarding and child protection training, and clear child protection and reporting procedures. We work together to ensure children's safety, wellbeing and rights remain a priority in everything we do.

Our educators are highly trained and experienced, with each room supported by qualified educators and staff-to-child ratios maintained in accordance with NSW requirements. Our team members hold relevant first aid qualifications, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training, and regularly participate in professional development to strengthen their knowledge, skills and practice.
