We're a small, 34-place long day care centre designed to feel like a second home. Here, every child is known, valued, and supported to explore and grow at their own pace.

Inside, our two well-equipped rooms provide tailored learning environments for nursery, toddler, and preschool-aged children.

We have two passionate, qualified teachers who devise and deliver our approved curricula.

Our child-led, play-based programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and nurture creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills, including school readiness for preschoolers.

Outside, children enjoy age-appropriate outdoor areas featuring natural play elements, veggie gardens and open spaces for exploration.

We work closely with families through open communication and the Storypark platform to share milestones and progress.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hello Parents and Caregivers, my name is Surya and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart West Pymble

I am passionate and profoundly committed to the fostering and growth of young children.

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a dynamic, inclusive space where every child feels empowered to explore, inquire, and thrive. I firmly believe in the significance of collaborative partnerships, especially with families.

As a Centre Manager, I’ve had an opportunity to blend my passion for education with administrative responsibilities, ensuring the smooth functioning of the service while upholding the highest standards of care and education.

My focus is to provide an environment where children not only learn but also thrive, where families feel welcomed and involved, and especially where educators are supported and empowered.

I’m excited to continue this journey of learning, growth, and making a positive impact on the lives of young learners and the community.

At West Pymble, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a preschool program and long day care under the one roof. Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
