Our outdoor environments play an important role in children’s learning. With opportunities to ride bikes, explore nature, tend to gardens and care for animals, children develop confidence, responsibility and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

We support children to feel ready for school through a dedicated Kindergarten program and strong connections with local schools. Visits to prep classrooms help children build familiarity, confidence and excitement for their next stage.

Hello! My name is Ally, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart - Mackay Bridge Road.

I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, secure, valued and a true sense of belonging. I believe that strong, respectful relationships are at the heart of quality early childhood education, and I am committed to ensuring that every child is supported to feel confident, capable and included. I believe every child has the right to feel heard, respected and supported. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children feel confident to express themselves, develop positive relationships with others and become active participants in their learning.

As a Centre Director, I work closely with our dedicated team of educators to create an environment where children can explore, play, learn and grow at their own pace. We focus on building responsive and meaningful relationships with each child, taking the time to understand their individual strengths, interests, needs, culture and personality.

At Mackay - Bridge Road, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 6 July 2026 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
