Close community, nature, and family life for educators in Tasmania
Kadie Cunningham, Assistant Director of Goodstart Kings Meadows, moved back for a better life.
I have worked in the ECEC sector for over 24 years and have held a variety of roles from a Senior Educator through to an Area Manager. I am very happy to be here at GSWK as the Centre Director and work alongside our Team of dedicated and caring educators and support staff.
Children are most likely to meet learning outcomes when we work in partnership with you, families are children’s first and most influential teachers. Relationships are at the core of what we do, if we foster genuine relationships and partnerships we will value each other’s knowledge about each child, we will value the roles we all play in a child’s life, trust each other, communicate freely and respectfully to each other, share insights and perspectives about each child and engage in shared decision making.
I am committed to Reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and engage with our Dunghutti People to gain further knowledge and call out racism and injustices when they occur.
I welcome you to come and visit us here at GSWK and meet our amazing team, marrungbu (thank you), Renee.
At West Kempsey, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a preschool program and long day care under the one roof. Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
