Here at Goodstart Carina our educational program enables children to grow, explore, and become the best possible version of themselves.

Our child care centre has three spacious rooms catering for children from 15mths to 5 years old and operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am until 6:00pm.

We have an amazing team of educators working throughout the centre and we are dedicated to the care and education of your children at all times. Our qualified educators, including our Bachelor qualified Kindergarten teacher, aim to provide a variety of fun, educational activities and experiences for the children on a daily basis.

We offer extracurricular activities such as Dance Along and Billy’s Buddies, and throughout the year we host educational shows ranging from dental visits to multi-cultural demonstrations. We have an open door policy and we invite all parents and families to come and participate in our routines or activities at any time.

Our centre also has a brand new outdoor learning environment with natural aspects for the children to be able to explore. Our centre offers a comprehensive high quality educational program which operates under the Early Years Learning Framework. This will assist the children in developing their own identity, building confidence, as well as effective communication skills.

The partnership between our families and our skilled and committed early childhood professionals helps to create a positive environment for children both where they live and where they learn.

Hello, my name is Tracy Delaware, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Carina

Hi, I’m Tracy, Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Carina. I bring close to 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, with over 16 of those years spent right here at our centre.

My journey into early learning began after I realised that high school teaching wasn’t the right path for me. Making the move into early childhood education was the best decision I could have made—I quickly discovered a true passion for supporting young children and their development, and I’ve never looked back.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in every role within early learning. These experiences have shaped my strong understanding of children, families, educators, and leadership, and continue to guide my inclusive and reflective approach.

I believe every child is unique and deserves to be nurtured and supported as an individual. I love watching children grow, learn, and develop their personalities—and I value the moments where I learn alongside them.

As Centre Director, I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where families feel confident and connected. I strive to ensure our centre feels like a true home away from home for both children and their families.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 6 July 2026 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
