Families often tell us how comfortable they feel leaving their children in our care – thanks to the deep connections we build and the consistency of our team.
Our classrooms are designed to foster curiosity and development, focusing on early language and emotional wellbeing. From our vibrant toddler rooms to our supportive kindergarten program, children grow through play, discovery and nurturing routines.
We work closely with working families to meet their needs and schedules, and our team is highly qualified. Three teachers with bachelor’s degrees plan our play-based curricula tailored to children’s strengths and interests.
Ready to see how we can support your family and ignite your child’s lifelong love for learning? Take a tour – we can’t wait to meet you.
At Goodstart Springfield Lakes, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.
We prioritise:
Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners.
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.
At our Goodstart Springfield Lakes centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.
At Goodstart, we believe all children deserve the best possible start in life, which includes access to high-quality early childhood education and care. We offer:
We work closely with parents to ensure the individual needs, interests and strengths of children are considered, and our learning goals reflect them. Using Storypark, a wonderful communication platform, we stay in close touch with families and ensure you're well informed about your child's development and achievements.

I have been working in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for almost 20 years and am passionate about creating environments where children, families and educators feel welcomed, valued and supported. Throughout my career I have worked across a variety of roles such as Centre Director, Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader, giving me a strong understanding of both quality educational practice and service leadership.
I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and have dedicated almost 20 years to supporting children, families and educators across a range of leadership and teaching roles. I am passionate about continuous learning and regularly seek opportunities to strengthen my knowledge, leadership and practice to ensure the best possible outcomes for our centre community.
Building genuine relationships is at the heart of everything I do. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, secure and confident to explore their world, and every family should feel like they are part of our centre community. I value open communication and believe strong partnerships between home and the service are essential to achieving the best outcomes for children.
As a leader, I am committed to supporting and mentoring educators to reach their full potential. I believe that when educators feel respected, empowered and inspired, they create meaningful learning experiences that allow children to thrive. I enjoy working alongside our team, celebrating their successes and fostering a culture of collaboration, reflection and continuous improvement.
I am passionate about providing high-quality early learning experiences that are guided by children’s interests, encourage curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning. I strongly believe in creating inclusive environments where every child has a sense of belonging and every family feels respected, heard and supported. I also value building strong connections with our local community and embracing the diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences that make our centre unique.
As both an early childhood professional and a parent, I understand how important it is to find a service where your child feels safe, happy and genuinely known. It is a privilege to be part of each family’s journey, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our children, families and educators as we continue to grow together as a community.
I am excited to lead the dedicated team at Goodstart Springfield Lakes and look forward to welcoming your family into our centre, where we strive to create a warm, inclusive and inspiring environment for every child to learn, grow and thrive.
