You are welcome to visit our centre, it's completely normal to have a million questions as you seek high quality care for your child. Visiting a centre is the best way to decide this. Play-based learning is one of the foundations of early learning Goodstart has implemented at its centres around Australia. It fully engages children in activities where they can show what they've learned and are trying to understand. At Goodstart, children enjoy a wide variety of activities within a flexible daily routine to ensure their day is not just fun, but acts as a 'teachable moment in time'.

All centre staff are required to hold, or be studying towards, a Certificate III in Children's Services. Room Leaders must have achieved a minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services, while each centre will also need to have Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers by 2014.

Hi, I’m Chantelle Osborne and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Newstead. I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Newstead since 2026.

My career in early childhood education began in 2014. I have built a strong foundation of leadership, experience, and passion for high-quality care and education. With the completion of my Certificate III and progressing to obtaining my Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2021, I consistently demonstrated a commitment to professional growth and best practice.

Throughout my journey, I have held a variety of roles with Goodstart Newstead including Room Leader, Educational Leader, and Assistant Director. I have also been a dedicated Safety Champion, advocating for safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for both children and educators.

I lead with a clear vision, strong values, and a genuine passion for supporting children, families, and My team. I am known for my approachable nature, clear communication, and ability to create an environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and confident in their place within the centre community.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
