We play and learn on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Our centre has reopened with a fresh new look, featuring upgraded outdoor play spaces and beautifully refreshed indoor learning environments designed to inspire every child’s learning journey.
Families from Flemington, Ascot Vale, Footscray, North Melbourne, Kensington and surrounding suburbs are already joining us, and we can’t wait to welcome yours too.

We are a purpose-built centre, with dedicated indoor and outdoor learning facilities which caters to each age group. We have a Bush Tucker Garden, Native Indigenous Garden, Bee Pollinator Garden and a thriving Chicken Coup to support children not only learn about the world in which they live but also develop environmental and sustainable world knowledge.

We work closely with parents to ensure the individual needs, interests and strengths of the children are considered, developing learning goals to reflect the same. Using Story Park, a wonderful communication platform, we stay in close touch with families and ensure they are well informed about their children’s development and achievements.

Centre Director
Hello, My name is Narelle and I am the new centre director at Goodstart Flemington.
I’m so excited to be joining Goodstart Flemington as the new Centre Director!
For the past year, I’ve had the privilege of leading our Goodstart Moonee Ponds Early Learning Centre, and what a wonderful journey it has been.
With a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and nearly ten years of hands-on experience, I’ve grown through many roles, from Educator to Senior Educator, Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director and now Centre Director. Each step has deepened my passion for early learning and my commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring space for children and families.
What I love most about this role is the relationships, seeing children discover the joy of learning, supporting educators to shine and building strong connections with families.
Relocating to Goodstart Flemington, one of our largest Goodstart centres, is such an exciting next step. This new chapter is all about bringing my heart, experience and energy into a community that values play, curiosity, and belonging.

After moving house and having looked at many childcare centres I came across Goodstart Flemington and haven't looked back. The staff here are all welcoming, warm and professional. Many have completed postgraduate studies and it shows in their superior approach to care and education. Since attending this childcare my son has improved immensely in all areas of his development and I couldn't be more grateful. The centre is so well setup with three extra large outdoor play areas, lots of play equipment a veggie patch, even a chicken coop! They provide a variety of nutritious meals, all cooked each day from scratch. The kids love it!. My son never comes home hungry. There are frequent incursions, excursions, daily photos, informal and formal parent/teacher discussions and even annual visits from a dental service. The educators in my son's room have gone above and beyond in supporting him develop. The best part is he loves going to there to see them and his friends. He often hurries me up to go!. Well done to the entire Goodstart team. We are so glad to have found this amazing place.
Wonderful Experience at Good Start Flemington Kindergarten Our experience at Good Start Flemington Kindergarten has been nothing short of amazing. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. Our daughter, Aadhini, has thrived in this nurturing environment, and we’ve seen her grow in confidence, social skills, and academic readiness. The team consistently posts all the activities and meals provided to the children on the Storypark app, which is wonderful. A special thank you to Basudha, Simon, Leena, and Vanshika for their dedication and care. The team at Good Start creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a place where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every day. The activities are thoughtfully designed to engage the children and help them learn through play. Communication with parents is excellent, keeping us informed and involved in our child's progress. We’re sad to leave due to relocation but will always be grateful for the wonderful care and education received here. We highly recommend Good Start Flemington Kindergarten to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching early learning environment.
Goodstart Flemington is the first day care my daughter went to in Australia and I am so very grateful that we found it. She loved going to the center everyday as the staff were all so welcoming and took great care of her. Priyanka, Neeraja and the rest of the staff are doing a great job at managing the center and providing exceptional care for the kids, who all always seem very happy. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to start the day care journey for their kids.
This is the first kinder in Australia for my daughter and I absolutely happy that I found them. Every single staff is super supportive and encouraging. I felt like we had a family here. Starting from the center director Priyanka, Admin Chole, my daughters' teachers Simon and Vamshika, Niranjana and all other staffs are super friendly and approachable. Starting from updating us on the child behaviors to any single detail of payments, holiday discounts, other sessions that happen in school, they make sure to update the parents. I highly recommend anyone to choose good start Flemington Kinder without any second thoughts.
