Early Learning Fund set to support more than 700 children in 2026
As Workplace Giving Month gets underway, Goodstart is celebrating its biggest year of ELF impact since 2022 and the community helping make it possible.
Goodstart Early Learning Grovedale – Torquay Road is a long day care and Kindergarten located in a residential area close to schools, shops and public transport. We are located on a main road, which makes us convenient when it comes to the daily drop-off and pick-up.
We are an 80-place centre with our rooms catering to Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten / Preschool groups. Our curriculum is developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, although we work closely with our parents and families to ensure we nurture every child’s strengths and interests while meeting their individual needs. Key Educator is embedded in our everyday practice and allows us to develop strong bonds with you and your family, therefore assisting us to meet your child’s individual needs. We use the Storypark platform to keep families informed and it forms a solid foundation for open and clear communication.
Inside, our rooms are set up to deliver a sensory and play-based learning experience. We have a kitchen to satisfy hungry tummies and our links to the community help us deliver a comprehensive program. Throughout the year we have many special days for our families and educators to participate in and we encourage you to add your ideas to participate in our program.
Outside, each room has a spacious veranda area, meaning we have outdoor play and fresh air in all types of weather. We have soft fall bark areas, sandpits, a mud-pit, spacious grassed areas and lots of areas for the children to explore and learn.
Our educators here at Goodstart Early Learning Grovedale - Torquay Road pride themselves on working hard at developing and implementing educational and fun programs for your child to explore, discover and learn throughout their time here. Whilst also building strong relationships with each child and their families.
Come in and say hello, meet the team and see how we can start your child on a wonderful journey of lifelong learning.

I have worked in the early childhood sector for over 10 years, beginning my career as a Certificate III educator, progressing to a Diploma-qualified educator, and then moving through various leadership roles before completing my Graduate Diploma of Teaching. I joined Goodstart as an Assistant Director and have since progressed into the role of Centre Director.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating welcoming environments where families feel valued, supported, and connected from the moment they walk through our doors. Building strong relationships and being part of each family's journey is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
I am committed to safeguarding children and strongly believe in the power of early childhood education. The first five years of life are critical for a child's development, and I am passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, secure, supported, and inspired to learn. I believe every child deserves opportunities to explore, build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and reach their full potential through high-quality early learning experiences.
I believe in leading by example and creating a culture where educators feel supported, respected, and inspired. I have high expectations because I understand the lasting impact quality early childhood education can have on a child's life, while also recognising the importance of kindness, teamwork, and valuing the unique strengths each educator brings. My goal is to foster an environment where everyone feels confident, valued, and motivated to provide the very best outcomes for children and families.
As a leader, I pride myself on being approachable, collaborative, and an effective communicator. I am passionate about supporting educators to grow professionally while fostering a positive team culture where everyone feels appreciated, respected, and empowered to do their best work.
I look forward to getting to know all the children and families, and working together to create a warm, safe, and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive, every family feels connected, and every educator feels supported.
