Goodstart Early Learning Pakenham is located in the heart of the Pakenham community precinct with close access to the shopping area, local schools, playgrounds, maternal child health centre, and the lake and local parks.
Our qualified educators are dedicated to delivering a high quality and developmentally appropriate, fun-filled learning program to all the children in our care. We offer a range of activities and programs to ensure each child is being challenged in all areas of their development.
Our Centre is committed to embedding sustainable practices in our daily rituals through the community vegetable gardens, herb gardens, and worm farm which children have learnt to nurture and care for.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and is catered to children from as young as 6 weeks, to 6 years of age. We boast 4 carefully curated classrooms (nursery, toddler, 3yo Kinder and 4yo Kinder), all of which have developed colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual development, interests, needs and strengths.
Communication is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, rock pool, dry creek bed, veggie patches, worm farm, cubbies and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
We also have a cook at the centre providing tasty and nutritious meals for the children when tummies start to growl and can cater to any dietary needs.
Our families enjoy coming together on the many special occasions that we host, such as annual end-of-year celebrations, Kinder Graduation Evening and Grandparent or Special Person Days. We also host a number of different fun days throughout the year such as pajama day, footy day, St Patrick's Day, and World Environment Day.
We recognise the importance of collaboration with families. Boasting two parent-teacher interviews each year coupled with extensive portfolios assessing and celebrating your child’s achievements, you are always well-informed and surrounded by caring educators who are ready to listen.
