Goodstart Early Learning Parkdale offers an all-inclusive early learning experience designed to support every child’s growth and development. We understand the needs of busy families, which is why we provide a wide range of valuable inclusions to support your daily routine. These offerings are all included in our daily fees and eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Government Kindergarten funding (Kindergarten program only).

What you can enjoy when enrolling at our centre:

We provide a hat, t‑shirt, sunscreen, bedding for rest time, and nappies for our youngest children. We aim to remove as many barriers as possible for families, one less thing to worry about in the morning!
Children enjoy up to five nourishing meals prepared fresh daily by our on-site cook. We happily cater for all dietary needs, and we use mealtimes as opportunities for connection, ritual, our multicultural community and learning.
Extended opening hours from 6:30am - 6:30pm to meet the needs of working families.

We believe extra-curricular experiences play an important role in supporting children’s learning, creativity, and confidence. That’s why we offer a variety of engaging incursions throughout the year, across all age groups and completely included in your daily fees.

Daily: Our curriculum is strongly influenced by nature. In our outside playgroups your child will enjoy sandpits, mud pits, cubby house, water trough, compost bins, vege patch, worm farm, undercover verandah, swings and lots of shade. Giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
Fortnightly: Interactive sports and music programs that encourage movement, rhythm, and teamwork
Each Term: Exciting and educational incursions such as Bee Education, Sing & Grow, Body Safety Superstars, Museums Victoria experiences, and yoga sessions
Annually: A hands-on Mad About Science incursion that sparks curiosity and discovery

Hi, I’m Nafisa Chowdhury and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Parkdale.

I have been in Early Childhood sector since 2013 and worked in a range of services both private and non for profit. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Parkdale.

I strongly believe that each child can, at their own pace, develop independence, self-identity and an ability to investigate the world around them. I love to build a trusting relationship with the children while guiding them into the next stage of development with an excitement for continued learning. I enjoy acknowledging the multi-culturalism in our community and like to celebrate cultural uniqueness. I have also been actively taking part in various sustainability programs and encourage our children to be part of the process to create a better future for us all.

At Parkdale, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
