With over 20 years of experience in the Early Learning sector, I began as an assistant educator and have built my career over the years towards becoming a Centre Director . I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and take great joy and pride in caring for children and creating safe, welcoming, and engaging environments within every service I’ve been a part of. I’ve been with Goodstart for three years, with the past 18 months as Centre Director at one of our sister centres.
My Early Learning Values:
I strongly believe that a child’s experiences in early childhood education should be positive, foster a lifelong love of learning, and set them up for success in school and life. The safety of all children is at the forefront of everything I do. I am Steiner-educated, so the growth and development of children as whole people is very important to me. Ensuring that children receive an education that nurtures their head, heart, and hands through a variety of activities and experiences creates a positive learning environment and helps your child feel welcome and safe in our care.
Developing reciprocal relationships with both you and your child is essential to ensure we can support your child’s early learning journey in the best possible way. Whether it’s a quick hello in the morning or a more in-depth conversation about your child’s development, I will endeavour to always be available for you and your family.
A Little More About Me:
Outside the centre, you’ll often find me walking my dog or spending time with my family. We love going to the beach, watching football (soccer), or enjoying board games together.
