Goodstart Ballajura

Goodstart Early Learning Ballajura is situated on a quiet street close to local schools and shops. Our car park is at the front of the centre making it easy for parents to drop off and collect their children.

Our centre caters for children from birth to five years and has been operational for more than 14 years, educating and caring for many children in the community who eventually move from our care to the local schools. We support our local schools and even had some of the older children from the schools do their work experience with us at our centre.

Our rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework providing sensory and play based learning opportunities. We provide a welcome space each morning allowing children to be welcomed into the centre by a familiar educator, providing a valuable time to connect with our parents and children during what can be sometimes a little unsettling.    

We take pride in our environments and ensure they are calm, relaxing, child friendly spaces enhanced with elements of nature. We aim at engaging children through the purposeful set up of play stations across our environments maximising children’s outcomes for learning and their opportunity to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning. Our ultimate goal is focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Our intuitive Storypark platform enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families and share your child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Ballajura and what happens at home. It lets us identify children’s strengths, development progress within the centre and our curriculum program as well as daily routine updates and learning experiences that have happened. This has proven to be very valuable to parents as part of documenting their child’s learning journey during their time with us.

At Goodstart Ballajura we are very fortunate to have large outdoor play spaces for our children; we operate a free flow indoor / outdoor program giving children the opportunity to choose whether they want to play indoors or outdoors and set up environments with daily experiences.

Children love coming to our centre because I believe they have a real sense of belonging, they feel secure and safe and I think when leaving your child in an early learning centre this is a fundamental part of peace of mind.
