Erina McCafferty Centre Director
Hi there, my name is Erina and I am the Centre Director of Goodstart Centenary Heights. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for many years in various capacities and have been fortunate enough to work within Early Years services from Brisbane to Toowoomba. I am a Mum to 4 very busy boys that keep me on my toes and keep check of the reality every family faces each day.
I strongly believe that the first five years are vital and we, as Educators have such an important role to play. Here at Centenary Heights our passion for working with children and providing them with a happy, supportive and safe environment where they can enjoy their days while learning through investigating, exploring and play sets each child up for the very best possible start.
I believe that achieving successful outcomes for children starts with collaboration with families. I have a strong alignment with the Circle of Security and the Key Educator approach, valuing the foundations that strong relationships have in enhancing best outcomes for children. I value the family connection that my role allows me to make with each and every person that comes into our centre – a relationship that I hope makes you feel like you are home.
Come visit our beautiful new centre and say hi - we have an open door policy and I cannot wait to show you around and introduce you to our team.
