Goodstart Early Learning Cowandilla is Now Open.

Enquire now by calling our centre and speaking to our Centre Director for your specific early learning needs. 

*Please note parking and entry to our centre is through to 27 Wilson Street.*

About our new centre

Our purpose built centre provides much-needed care for local families.  Featuring six large and spacious learning spaces over a single level and a separate nursery sleep room, the centre provides a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment.

All age-based learning spaces have direct access to our outdoor nature-based designed play space, with sensory gardens, pebbled creek beds, tee pees, pergola, digging patch, vegetable garden and two large sandpits. Our beautiful outdoor dining hub provides a dedicated space for meals with our onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows our cook to serve and engage our children in cooking and preparing meals.

Our early learning programs cater to each child's stage of development, from six weeks of age to Kindergarten-aged children. Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is tailored to your child's individual interests.  
 

Our family lounge is also available for our families to access during our opening hours - we welcome our families to take a moment to enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.

Meals are cooked onsite in our commercial kitchen by our Centre Cook and prepared fresh each day - meals include a light breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.

Renae Speck Centre Director

My name is Renae Speck and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Cowandilla.

I began my career in Early Childhood 16 years ago. From this moment, I knew the Early years of a child’s life is fundamentally the most important and I wanted to be apart of this to ensure children are supported to reach their full potential while providing high quality programs. During my journey in the early years I have held many roles which has led me to where I am today. I strongly believe Goodstart’s vision: For children in Australia to have the best possible start in life.

My aim is to lead a team in providing an inclusive environment that promotes a sense of belonging for each child, family and educator. Goodstart Cowandilla truly captivates individual children, being able to build from their own interest and strengths through scaffolding and facilitating their own learning and development. 

Our learning spaces are designed for children allowing them to freely explore open-ended resources which pride a stimulating, nurturing and supportive environment.

I look forward to meeting you and your family and working in close partnership together.
