We're a family-focused early learning centre built on Larrakia Country.
We believe early learning should be inspiring, nurturing, and accessible for every family.
Located just minutes from Darwin Airport, our centre is easy to find and purpose-built. Our four age-based rooms – Quokka, Joey, Possum and Kookaburra – are thoughtfully designed for nursery through preschool. Together with our spacious outdoor play areas, we offer a safe and stimulating environment where children thrive.
Our longstanding, multilingual team brings warmth, experience, and consistency, ensuring tailored support for every family from day one.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Welcome to Goodstart Darwin Airport! My name is Nayoung Lee, and I’m honoured to serve as the Centre Director here, a place where learning, laughter, and community come together every day.
Drawing on many years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, I bring not only professional expertise but a deep passion for creating environments where children feel safe, inspired, and celebrated for who they are. I believe that every child deserves a space where they can explore, grow, and thrive. Every family deserves to feel supported and heard.
At the heart of our centre is a team of dedicated educators who share my commitment to nurturing each child’s unique potential. Together, we foster a culture of kindness, curiosity, and respect.
