We offer affordable, all-inclusive top-notch childcare near CDU with state-of-the-art facilities and a cosy atmosphere. Join some of Darwin's brightest learners in our amazing art studio, focused learning spaces, and activities that spark curiosity, all designed to fit your schedule.

At Goodstart CDU, we’re dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 6 weeks to school age. Our new, state-of-the-art centre is conveniently located on the Charles Darwin University (CDU) campus in Darwin, along Lakeside Drive.

Our team of experienced and dedicated educators are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. With a focus on building strong, positive relationships, we go out of our way to see your child feel valued and supported every day.
Safety is our top priority, and we look after our centres. They're intentionally designed to make the best use of our early learning resources and our settings are enriching and engaging. We’re designed to meet children's interests and individual needs.
Our brand-new centre features separate, naturally inspired learning areas, each with direct access to our landscaped designed outdoor environment. This way, children can move freely between spaces. We also have a multipurpose atelier for art or science, with a clay modelling studio, watercolour painting and much more.
If your child attends childcare with us, they can stay with us until they start school. At Goodstart CDU, we offer a government-assessed and approved preschool program. This curriculum is designed as a part of the Australian government's early years learning framework and it's delivered by bachelor-qualified early childhood teachers. This early education program applies across the country with school readiness in mind.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Centre Director

Hello everyone, it is my pleasure to introduce myself as Lidiane, but you can call me Lidi.

I was born in Brazil and have lived in Australia for the past 14 years. It is an honour for me to serve as the Centre Director here at Goodstart CDU.

As an early childhood educator and an executive secretary, I have extensive experience in the educational and administrative sector. The first stage of my childcare career was as a casual educator, which eventually led to the position of Centre Director. Working with children for almost ten years has helped me to foster an inclusive and nurturing environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported.

To enhance children's learning, I am dedicated to providing them with the most effective educational experiences possible. I value working with families and together we aim to ensure that our centre remains a nurturing and empowering space for all children.

I look forward to meeting you, getting to know your family and expectations, and helping you create an enjoyable experience for your children.
