About our new centre

Our purpose built centre provides much-needed care for local families. Featuring eight large and spacious learning spaces over one level and 2 separate nursery sleep rooms, the centre provides a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment. The centre will be a standalone buidling adjacent to the estates new Shopping Centre and offers onsite parking spaces for drop off and pick up.

All age-based learning spaces have direct access to our outdoor nature-based designed play space, with sensory gardens, nature play area, mud kitchen, tee pees, pergola, digging patch, vegetable garden and two large sandpits. The onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows our cook to serve and engage our children in cooking and preparing meals.

Our early learning programs cater to each child's stage of development, from six weeks of age to Preschool aged children. Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework tailored to your child's individual interests.

Centre Director

Hi there! My name is Lisa Emme

I have worked in the early education and care profession since 2001 where I started out as a trainee. I began my Journey with Goodstart in January 2004, I have been lucky enough to be part of some amazing opportunities and growth during my time at Goodstart. Over the past 18 years at Goodstart I have been fortunate enough to experience various roles and responsibilities. from being an educator working directly with children, to becoming a room leader and then becoming a Centre Director. I have been a Centre director at Goodstart for the past 9 years within the local area. I first started out at Goodstart Woodcroft for 5 years and in 2018 moved to Goodstart Kellyville Ridge where I have been for the last 4 years.

I have always had a passion for teaching and educating young children and people. Wanting to make a difference and supporting children growth and development, so that they can have the best start to life, this is highly important as today’s children are our future leaders and the early education and life skills that we teach them today and the opportunities that we provide them will ultimately sets them up for life.

I started studying early education through TAFE when I was still at school. Since completing school I have completed a Certificate III and Diploma in Children’s Services through Lady Gowrie and my Bachelor of Teaching (Birth-5 years) through Charles Sturt University.

I also am a mother of two children aged 13 and 10 years. I have experienced the family and parent side of early education and transition to school and believe that this helps me support, guide and understand families better.

Working with children, teaching them and learning from them, is very rewarding, getting to know their individual personalities and how they see things from a different perspective as they grow and develop is very inspiring and empowering and fulfilling to be part of.
