About Goodstart Epping High Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Epping - High Street is located within walking distance of local buses, Epping Train Station and the Plaza. The child care centre was purpose built in May 1997 and our children's rooms are brightly decorated, with large outdoor areas.
At Goodstart Epping High Street, we provide high quality educational programs that cater to all children’s interests, needs and abilities. The children have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of experiences to encourage all areas of development.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
Our child care centre encourages parent participation and involvement and we respect the contribution provided. We are committed to what we do, to develop positive learning outcomes for all children. We listen to our children, families and centre staff and use feedback to continually raise the standard of service.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, digging pits, vege patches, worm farm, compost area, fort, bike track and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet you and your family and explore how we can support you on this early learning adventure.
