About Goodstart Glendale
Goodstart Early Learning Glendale is located in a safe and convenient residential area, close to local schools, shops and community services, as well as public transport. Our service was built in 2006 and caters for children 6 weeks of age to five years, across six rooms, with two large nature based playgrounds.
We create daily programs for children using the Early Years Learning Framework as the foundation for each program, and in turn we take into account children’s interests, culture, and abilities to meet all individual needs. Each room offers a flexible routine, and engaging environments for all children, incorporating age appropriate challenges, and a variety of different learning opportunities throughout each day such as Bush Kindy.
We believe that relationships are key at Glendale, and we pride ourselves on the strong, reciprocal relationships we have built via the key educator approach with children and families that attend our service, and also the local community. In addition to this, the Echo (Enhancing Children’s Outcomes) social inclusion program our centre is involved in, allows our service onsite access to a child and family practitioner, occupational therapist and speech therapist who work closely with educators to strengthen their professional knowledge and importantly, enhance children’s outcomes for school and life.
We use Storypark to document children’s learning, newsletters, and the upcoming and past participation in community events.
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied.
We invite you to come in have a tour of our lovely centre, and meet out amazing educators. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
