About Goodstart Heidelberg
Conveniently located in Heidelberg, close to shops, schools, hospitals and public transport, Goodstart Early Learning, provides your child with a unique space to play, explore, learn and create.
We welcome children aged six weeks to five years old, who are all placed within our seven purpose built rooms based on age.
We are lucky to have a team of dedicated staff, who are highly qualified and experienced with all age groups. They are extremely passionate about what they do, providing a warm, caring and fun environment for children and families.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance a child’s awareness of their surroundings, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. With our dry river bed, cubby house, multiple sandpits, garden beds, veggie patches, worm farm, and an abundance of shade and space to run around, there is plenty to keep the children happy and stimulated.
We use Storypark to engage parents with their child's learning, this industry leading program allows you to be connected to your child while in care. This platform allows families to view their daily activities, whilst also providing the opportunity to interact with educators.
Drop off and pick up car spaces are located right outside our centre’s doors.
Come in and meet the team, take a tour and see how we can work together to give your child the best possible start in life!

Dianne Roper Centre Director
Hi, my name is Dianne Roper, and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Heidelberg.
I have worked in the early childhood industry for many years, and hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have worked as an assistant, group leader, second in charge and Director in a variety of differing environments.
As a Centre Director, my mission is to ensure that the Centre, as well as the Educators, deliver a high-quality care and educational program for all children. I believe the more comfortable and settled a child is in their environment – the more a child will learn. It is important that all children are presented and participate in meaningful play based experiences that will both challenge them and extend on their learnings.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you our Centre!
