Goodstart Early Learning Lavington Central is located in the beautiful surroundings of Albury Wodonga

At our service, we thrive to achieve the highest possible quality of care by providing a variety of detailed and aesthetically pleasing activities for children aged six weeks through to six years. Goodstart Lavington has been part of the local community for more than 15 years.

Goodstart Lavington actively works with Holy Spirit School, Lavington Library and local businesses to maintain our community links. Our educators are all highly qualified; all holding a Certificate 3 in Children's Services or higher. We have educators who have been at the child care centre ranging from 1 year up to 20 years, who bring a variety of knowledge and culture to the centre.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Preschool - are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating and engaging environments ensure that children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

At Goodstart Lavington, we value communication and we have various mediums of communication with families. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family events and emails, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Variety and flexibility play a vital role in the planning of the day to day activities. Every child is given choice and independence is greatly encouraged through flexible play. Cognitive, physical, fine motor and social skills are just some of the skills developed as our staff plan and provide challenging yet rewarding experiences for your child.

Outside, we have an open and spacious playground with sandpits, climbing equipment, vegie patch and lots of shade that enables us to include outdoor play year round.

Family and community are very important in our centre with any parent and community input welcome. We are dedicated to making our child care centre as warm and as friendly for our families as possible. We ensure this by making our selves available at any time and also in our willingness to help make childcare a pleasurable experience for your child as much as it is for us. Through consultation with families we implement excursions throughout the centre, develop programs and learning environments and fundraise together to support local and national charities.
