Play based learning:
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

Our on-site chef takes great pride in preparing fresh food daily. From breakfast to a late snack, every meal is created and served with care and consideration of nutrition, allergies, and individual palates.

I have held this role since 2007 and I have been in the early learning and child care sector since 1992.
I have a Bachelor of Early Childhood and a Diploma of Children's Services and during my career I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups and across the variety of areas in the industry.
I have always believed that I needed to work with children, and I love working for an organisation that recognises the importance of the first five years. As educators we have the opportunity to influence and enlighten the children in our care, preparing them for life with a solid foundation. I am lucky to be surrounded by a team of educators who are passionate about what they do, and thoroughly committed to our centre and its families.

At Melton - Centenary Avenue, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our early learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
