Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hi, I’m Claire Littore and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Matthew Flinders Mildura. I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart Matthew Flinders since April 2025.
I hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, and take great joy and satisfaction in overseeing the educational programs and care at Goodstart Matthew Flinders.
I have been in the Early Childhood industry for over 15 years and have worked in a range of services within the local community.
My Early Learning values:
A strong belief of mine is that each individual child is a unique learner, and I have a large passion for implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework and pursuing the National Quality Standards. I have a passion for building collaborative relationships with children and families to support your children’s early childhood education journey.
What I love about our community:
Our vibrant river life, and agricultural heartland makes it a special place. It's a place where you can enjoy a relaxed pace and discover delicious local produce.
A little more about me:
When I’m not in the centre, you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, cuddling my dog or watching my stepson play sport. I also enjoy reading or watching Friends during my quiet time.
