Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Hello! My name is Natalie (you can call me Nat!), and i'm the Centre Director here at Goodstart North Sydney Berry Street.

Welcome to Goodstart North Sydney – Berry St!

My name is Natalie Muggoch and I have the honour of leading our unique and inclusive community here in North Sydney – Berry St, on the land of the Gamaragal/Cammeraygal people. With 7 years of experience in early childhood education and care, I'm deeply passionate about creating an environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique potential.

My background

I began my journey in early childhood education as a trainee, which ignited my passion for early learning. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to support opening a new centre and support the development and growth across multiple centres.

My early childhood philosophy

I believe in building relationships and working in partnership with families and not just the child. For me, it's all about building long term relationships with families that last the first 5 years of their child’s life.

Goodstart North Sydney – Berry St is special because we have many long-standing staff and families that have returned with younger siblings. Every day, I'm inspired by the smiles, laughter, and learning that happen within our walls.

Our preschool teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
