Goodstart Early Learning Point Cook has been operating since 2004 and is a 75-place centre, catering for children from six weeks to five years over four rooms, we are conveniently located within walking distance to Point Cook Town Centre and Williams Landing Train Station.
We have 4 learning spaces:
We offer two years of kindergarten—two years of consistent, high-quality early learning, play, and friendship-building. It's everything your child needs to feel confident and prepared for school.
Our resource rich environments encourage children to explore, and our play-based learning programs are delivered by a team of passionate qualified early childhood educators and teachers, dedicated to the development of each individual child.
We undertake ongoing study to maintain and further our skills and knowledge. Our Staff qualifications range from Certificate level through to Bachelor degrees.
We recognise that in order for young children to reach their full potential in a learning environment, they must each be viewed as an individual. Each child has unique interests, varying skill levels and very specific needs from adults and peers. Our tailored learning programs focus on each child's unique style of learning and allow them to gain the most from activities and experiences.
Through Story Park families are provided with a secure login which enables you to keep informed through pictures, stories and learning outcomes.
Our team of passionate educators and teachers are from different cultural backgrounds and during the year we look forward to celebrating our diversity through events, language and stories.

Goodstart Point Cook the Strand is about to undergo an exciting upgrade! Our environments have a natural and homely feel with the voices and artwork of the children on display throughout the Centre.
All of our educators have been with us for many years, are professional and are all dedicated to providing high quality care and education for all of our children.
In our outside environment we have three areas with sandpits, climbing frames, gardens, with space to run around and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned learning spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the natural world. Our children are encouraged to explore, create and play in an enriching, safe and stimulating environment.
At Goodstart Point Cook The Strand we offer a government funded kindergarten program and long day care. Our Kindergarten program is delivered by our University qualified Early Childhood Teachers providing a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning to ensure they are confident and prepared for school and life.
We offer a 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten program.
At Goodstart we believe that all children deserve the best possible start in life, and that includes access to high-quality early childhood education and care.

My wife and I are genuinely amazed by the variety of activities that Goodstart Early Learning Centre offers for our child. The range of experiences has been fantastic, keeping our little one engaged and excited each day. She has developed strong friendships with her peers, which makes us so happy to see. My husband and I absolutely adore the Goodstart Centre at the Strand. It's an incredibly welcoming place, and the staff are professional, exceptionally caring, and kind. I was understandably anxious about my baby adjusting after a less-than-ideal experience at a previous childcare centre. Still, the educators at Goodstart were understanding and reassuring. During the orientation days, I witnessed firsthand how attentive the staff is to the children. They truly treat each child as an individual, taking the time to understand their specific needs and how best to help them settle. This approach has also been evident in their interactions with my baby. The centre organises fantastic activities that engage the children and encourage their development in a nurturing environment. I particularly appreciate how they embrace diversity and show such respect for all different backgrounds. I have been the Centre Director at Goodstart The Strand since 2019. With my Advanced Diploma of Children's Services and over 20 years in the early learning industry which began in 1997, I thrive on leading my team and providing exceptional care and education to the children in our care.
At The Strand we believe in the importance of a warm, family-like atmosphere. We take great pride in our meaningful connections, not just between the children, but among the families themselves. Many parents have formed lasting friendships through the community cultivated at Goodstart The Strand, and we finds immense joy in facilitating these relationships.
Our genuine care for the wellbeing of both the children and their families is evident, and we look forward to welcoming new families into this extended, nurturing environment.
