About Goodstart Semaphore Park
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Semaphore Park is a small three room, 70 place centre. We are tucked into a lovely little part of our community, close to local schools, shops and residentials areas, as well as main roads and transport routes.
At Goodstart Semaphore Park our play-based early learning programs are delivered by experienced early childhood educators and teachers. We cater for children aged six weeks to five years, including a Government-approved Kindergarten program.
Our size means we can form strong close relationships with our families, which creates more opportunities to ensure our learning programs are tailored to your child’s individual interests, needs and strengths.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better place to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and can track their children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam. Our large trees offer plenty of natural shade all year round.
We have a cook who provides three healthy nutritious meals per day, we supply all nappies, linen and sunscreen. All our new families are provided with a Welcome Park which includes a Goodstart t-shirt and hat.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through exploring visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
Join our Facebook community to keep in touch with what's happening in our centre, and get expert information on parenting and early childhood.
We invite you to book a tour and take a look around our centre, meet the team and explore how we can support your early learning journey. We look forward to welcoming you and your family.

Jelka Trepic Centre Director
Hello, my name is Jelka Trepic and I am the Centre Director at Semaphore Park. I was originally based at Goodstart Ingle farm where I was in a Co-Director position. When the opportunity arose, I took on the role of Centre Director at Semaphore to cover Stacey Wake (the centre’s director) while she is on Maternity Leave. In my short time at the centre I have met many new families and children and have embarked on forming many new positive relationships.
I have been with Goodstart for the last 4 years in which I have worked in various roles, ranging from Team leader, Educational leader and Assistant director. This has provided me with the skills and tools I need to succeed in leading and mentoring my team. I am extremely passionate about supporting children in their early years and am always looking to upskill and extend my knowledge. I believe in mentoring my team and supporting them by providing professional development opportunities. By having a team of educators who are equipped with the right tools, we are able to deliver the highest quality of care to our families.
I am a firm believer in that all relationships are built on trust. We honour and respect the trust families place in us when leaving their children in our care. This trust is gained by having open lines of communication, sharing ideas and feedback as wellbeing inclusive to all. At Goodstart we embrace and celebrate each other’s differences and believe that providing a nurturing environment is key to the healthy development of children both emotionally and socially.
