About our centre

Goodstart Stafford Heights is located in a quiet, family orientated area in North Brisbane. Close to private and public schools as well as frequent public transportation, Goodstart Stafford Heights is conveniently accessible.

Our child care centre provides quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks old to 5 years old. We are proud to support families from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. We provide a natural environment for children and families with playgrounds surrounded by gardens and trees.

With a majority of educators who have either completed or are studying towards their Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, our service aims to support children's learning through high quality interactions, experiences and opportunities. We also have an Early Childhood Teacher who runs the Kindergarten program five days per week. Our educators implement the Early Years Learning Framework to develop child-centred learning programs. The interests and needs of each individual child are followed and supported with care. Parent involvement within our class programs is encouraged and very much appreciated.

At Goodstart Stafford Heights, we believe that communication between families, children and educators is the key to success. Our educators at Goodstart Stafford Heights work closely with families to ensure that routines are followed as best as possible and time is taken to get to know each child - their likes, dislikes, backgrounds, individual needs and interests. Families are encouraged to speak with our Centre Director or room educators at any time, always maintaining confidentiality.

Goodstart Stafford Heights feels that supporting our local community and culture is vital. We enjoy inviting our local community and families into our centre to share knowledge, skills and culture as this open's the children's eyes to the world around them, which is important in their learning journey.

Natasha Wilton

Centre Director

Hi! My name is Natasha, and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Stafford Heights.

I began my journey in early childhood education in 2014 and have since worked across many roles including assistant educator, lunch cover, room leader, assistant director and now director.

I’ve spent four years living in the UK, where I worked as a nanny. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the everyday joys and challenges of raising children, and it strengthened my passion for building strong, supportive relationships with families.

In addition, I’ve supported children and families through the NDIS, particularly those with additional needs. This has given me valuable insight into the importance of inclusive, individualised care and the power of advocating for every child’s voice to be heard.

For me, safeguarding, connection, and trust are at the heart of everything we do. I believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, confident, and valued and where families feel part of our extended community.
