About Goodstart Tapping
Goodstart Early Learning Tapping is located in a quiet street in a new suburb opposite St. Stephens School. We are close to local schools and shops as well as community amenities and public transport services.
We are a purpose built centre with four large spacious rooms and shady outdoor environments providing care and education for children aged six weeks to five years old. Children and families at our centre come from a diverse range of nationalities and we enjoy incorporating these cultures and experiences into our centre programs. We maintain strong relationships with local schools, businesses, public services and assist families at our centre to make connections with these services and with one another.
We have a team of educators who are Diploma Qualified on permanent shifts ensuring that we provide continuity and a high level of care for our families and children. Most of our wonderful educators have children of our own, which allows us to relate to parents and provide first hand advice.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.
Our Storypark platform enables the centre to capture child’s learning and development and showcase their daily activities, interests, abilities and achievements through images, comments , audio and videos to the families. This allows families to be more actively involved in their child’s development and improves communication between educators and families. We love having parent participation and have an open-door policy to encourage all families feel a sense of belonging at the centre.
A major focus for our centre is working with the broader community which helps us enrich child’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We organise frequent community events, information nights on subjects that families would like to explore, open days and other centre events for families to attend.
We invite you to book a tour at a time convenient for you to see our wonderful centre first hand and discuss how we can support you and your child on their pathway to lifelong learning.
