We’re a smaller, focused service with three rooms: a serene and nurturing nursery for our babies, a toddler learning and exploration space, and a preschool classroom where we deliver a play-based, teacher-led curriculum based on the Early Years Framework.
You’ll find us on Cornelia Road near Lucretia Road. We’re close to Toongabbie Plaza and Valencia Park, just a short drive to Toongabbie Train station. Why not take a tour and let us show you around?
Our diverse educators come from various backgrounds, which helps our multicultural families feel at home, while language and culture variety add rich experiences to all children.
You could meet Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Japanese, Telugu, Sinhalese, Gujarati, Sinhala, and Tamil speakers during your tour.
Many of our team members are longstanding – two of our three teachers have been with us for 10+ years – and always keep up to date with best practices. We are committed to ensuring all our staff obtain the highest qualifications, training, and upskilling opportunities that Goodstart provides.
Being a smaller service, we can nurture and focus on our limited group of children. Our learning experiences extend beyond the classroom, with regular music incursions, a soccer program for toddlers and preschool children, and excursions to Matella Road Public School to support school readiness.
We always make families feel welcome, and we’re honoured that so many come back to us with their new babies and younger children.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Toongabbie centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start reception.

I have been in Early Childhood Education and Care for 16 years, with experiences with children across all ages between 0-5 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am very passionate about early learning and providing children with the best start in their lives. With my professional pedagogies and leadership, I am here to support and lead a group of exceptional educators to provide all children with a meaningful and inclusive learning environment, to reach their potential in their early learning and to develop their best in their unique ways.
