About Goodstart Traralgon Conway Court
Thank you for taking the time to look at our Centre!
More than just being in a convenient location to Home, Work & the Shops, I’m sure you will see a lot of reasons to join our community at Conway Court – Traralgon.
All Goodstart Centres offer a high-quality service, we have the same Policies, Procedures and even share some staff, but we are all as unique as your family, meaning you have options to find your best fit.
What makes us a little different?
Our Centre has a Therapy Dog! – Her name is Lilly and she is a Bernese Mountain Dog. Although she is big, she is a gentle giant and loves a pat and a cuddle.
Therapy Dogs have been proven to assist children with, but not limited to;
- Separation Anxiety.
- Depression.
- Loneliness.
- Making Friends.
- Learning to read.
- Learning social skills.
We have six rooms at our Centre, our rooms are nice and small, in fact our Nursery One and Nursery Two are the smallest Nursery’s in Traralgon with only 8 babies, and our ‘biggest’ rooms only have 16 children. With having six rooms, each room is set up to that specific age group, so we can focus on the development of these specific children.
We offer the Official Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program where the children take their food scraps daily to the Worm Farm or Compost Bin, then take that waste onto the garden where they plant their own vegetables, they do all their own watering, weeding, planting and even remove them and cook the veggies for lunch!
Our Kindergarten now has Bush Kinder, where the children explore the local bushland as part of Natural Play several times a week.
Our new bus not only transports children for the Before & After School Program throughout Traralgon, but also transports children of all ages to various Excisions, almost daily! Our bus is even fitted with a Fridge so that we can have fresh food no matter where we are. There is also a 6-seater pram to take the babies on walking excursion for some fresh air.
We believe in natural environments where children can explore, get dirty, climb and get wet, this is why we have changes of clothes and have Centre Raincoats and Gum Boots.
All our food is prepared on site by a qualified cook, starting with a Hot Breakfast for the children we offer all meals included in your fees, we also offer fruit all day.
To set families up for success, we offer free Orientations and have an Open Door Policy, where families are welcome to stay and have a play at any time or ring the centre whenever they would like an update on their child.
In the Hallway you will find a Community Pantry, where families can make donations to support other families in need but also make withdrawals when needed.
There is also a Coffee Station for families to make themselves a Coffee to take to work.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Community here at Conway Court.
We provide early learning & care to these groups:
